Plans were to open the garden to the public this Saturday, April 17th. Every now and then though you come across a speed bump in the road and need to slow down.This past Wednesday I had a lump removed from my breast, it was more involved than I realized (or maybe more than I wanted to realize). Gardening is on a slow down for the time being. I can get out there and take lots and lots of photos (and be assured that I will do just that). I just can't dig or lift for a while so we are pushing the opening date of Melanie's Perennials to May 1st.

ReplyDeleteI've had three lumps removed, thankfully all were benign. One of mine was when I was 7 months pregnant and they couldn't put me to sleep. It was more involved than they thought and the local wasn't completely numbing it. Not a fun experience at all! At least it was benign and my baby was fine through the procedure.
