Speed Bumps in the road

Plans were to open the garden to the public this Saturday, April 17th. Every now and then though you come across a speed bump in the road and need to slow down.

This past Wednesday I had a lump removed from my breast, it was more involved than I realized (or maybe more than I wanted to realize). Gardening is on a slow down for the time being. I can get out there and take lots and lots of photos (and be assured that I will do just that). I just can't dig or lift for a while so we are pushing the opening date of Melanie's Perennials to May 1st.

Hope to see you then!

Melanie

So sorry to hear that. Blessings that it was found and hopefully benign. Keeping you in my prayers.

Chin up, Melanie. Sounds like you will be well soon, but what a scare this is. Anything we can do to help?

As a very optimistic person I'm just sure it will turn out fine. Besides, I have way too many things to do still with my life :-)

The best thing for me right now is to immerse myself in the garden so posting to all of you is the best help of all!

I've had three lumps removed, thankfully all were benign. One of mine was when I was 7 months pregnant and they couldn't put me to sleep. It was more involved than they thought and the local wasn't completely numbing it. Not a fun experience at all! At least it was benign and my baby was fine through the procedure.

I pray that yours is benign too. Take care of yourself!

I'm so sorry to hear that! But here are more important things in life and the time for opening will still be there. Now you need to rest and I do hope that you will be well again soon / gittan

I hope by now you've had good news that it was benign. You are way too healthy to be sick!
