New Water Feature

Well, it was bound to happen. I've been complaining about this huge front lawn and how much I want to have a water feature here. Yesterday while I was out running errands, my husband Don had a construction crew begin work on our new water feature.

By mid afternoon we were hit with torrential thunder storms and downpours. Here's the end result...

What do you think? I might have to change the name of my garden now, it sure doesn't look like Old Country Gardens to me.

Oops, nope, wait a bit. Wrong photo, here we are back in reality. Yup, I guess Old Country Gardens will just have to stay the way it is for now. As for water features, this is it, our golf course sprinkler system.

The other photo was taken at Oheka Castle where my daughter is now working. Nice place to be, don't you think?

I thought something was fishy with that second photo. No landscaping crew I've heard of can work magic that fast! It looks like a great place to work.

LOL I knew you were kidding especially after the second picture.....(-: Oh well...I did see a cool fountain the other day though. It was an old well shaped fountain It really looked real with fake brick and the whole thing....anyhow it had two buckets. One bucket filled up from the pump and then poured into the other one. It was sooo cool. Told DH I really needed it in the garden...LOL He just said...when we win the lottery...lol I better get a ticket...(-:

Very convincing but I haven't heard of landscapers that fast either especially with a thunder storm. You are quite the kidder. I love it.

Ha! You couldn't fool me. Nice try though. Maybe if you told us it took more than a day....

We have to go visit Cheesehead at work to see any water features. SIGH. We had sprinklers at our old house, but no way am I getting sprinklers here. Especially after all the trouble we had with the last system!
